Description: We need your help! Habitat's ReStore is our discount home improvement store that is open to the public. Assist our staff in the daily operations of the ReStore. This opportunity is great for those interested in working with their hands and learning something new! Volunteers will be asked to accept donations and place them throughout the store, reorganize departments, help customers load their purchases, etc. In order to keep these building materials out of our local landfills, we need to sell them. Because all of our merchandise is donated and mostly used, it is important to keep each department organized. Remember to wear layers of clothing, as the warehouse can be drafty and you may be in and out of the building and hard soled shoes (at least tennis shoes). Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older to work at the ReStore and accompanied by an adult if under the age of 18.
How to find us: Our building is a large warehouse on the East side of the street with a huge mural painted on the front. We are on Westerville Road just South of Innis and North of Agler. There is a street-side sign that says ReStore.
